Whitelocks staff! Whitelocks wouldnt be Whitelocks if it wasn't for the staff. We pride ourselves on great friendly service, with a bit of quick wit and always remembering your tipple what more could you ask for. We have a very diverse team from all over the place. We have staff that have been here up to 25 yrs and others 6 months. So here is a bit about them: Managment.  Charlie Hudson-Sadly Charlie has parted ways with whitelocks and wishes the best to all who sail in her. it has been a pleasure and an honor to be part of such an amazing institution i will miss the pub and all the wonderful people i have met from being here.
 Cellar Fairy-Sarai or as she is most commonly known 'The Cellar Fairy', has been working with Charlie for over 3 years, She also came from The Wellington. She Prides herself on her Cask Ales she looks after them as if they were living beings, the love and care she gives a pint is what makes our beer just that little bit more enjoyable. Kevin Crickson-Kevin has been at Whitelocks for 6 yrs, and has worked his way up from bar man to Assistant Manager/Cellar Man over this time, everyone knows kev. He with sarai work as a great team to make sure there is always ale on for you to enjoy.Kitchen.  Ann Place- Ann has been at Whitelocks for 15yrs, which makes her our second longest running member of staff. Ann runs a very tight kitchen and prides herself on her traditional home cooking technics. Her Famous Steak Pie was and still is Whitelocks signiture dish.  Luzia Rodrigues-Luzia has been with us on and off for 5 yrs, she originates from portugal. She is second in command to Ann and cooks a mean pie also. When we open the Luncheon Bar Luzia will be taking charge and doing all the pasties and scotch eggs etc for both the Bottom Bar and the Top Bar. Debbie Carter-Our Debs has been working for us for 4 months, she came with Charlie(manager) from The Wellington, were she worked for 2 years as head chef. Since coming to Whitelocks she has thrown herself into making all the homecooked dishes just the way we like them.Restaurant.  Andy Squires-Andy has been working for us for 7 months, Andy comes from working in some of Leeds most popular restaurants. He is our new Restaurant Manager, and has been bringing the level and quality of service to where it should be. He has the fire going every day (without fail) and is always ready to greet you with a big smile.Main Bar.  Paulina Zubrowska-Paulina has been at whitelocks for over a year, her and Barbara started at the same time. She is like a little bar Pixie, jumping and bounding around and is always guarenteed to put a smile on your face.  Agata Kwiatkowska-Agata has been at Whitelocks for 3 months, she also came from The Wellington with Charlie, and is now running the Top Bar, she serves at the speed of lightning so you will not be waiting long for your perfectly served pint.Miki O'Brien-Miki has been at Whitelocks since she 'Helped Out' at Christmas...needless to say she is still here laughing out load behind the bar...Miki jumps from bar to restaurant at times and is a joy to be served by her. Kim Shires-Kim is Whitelocks' longest running member of staff she has been here 25 years, everybody knows Kim and will wait to be served by her. She is part of Whitelocks and we hope she stays for a long time, not sure how kim feels about another 25 years though. Nick Bryan-Nick has been with us since christmas he is a part timer here and works with Greencare (the company that does all our flowers). |
